Rail keeps Europe moving

When Covid-19 brought the world to a standstill, rail kept us moving. 2020 showed rail's strength and resilience as an essential part of the crisis response strategy as our sector ensured the smooth transportation of essential workers, vital medical equipment and patients in need of urgent care. As Europe takes on the dual challenge of recovery and climate change, rail - as the most sustainable form of mass transport - will play an important role in reviving the economy while decarbonising transport and helping the EU reach climate neutrality by 2050.
