EU rail companies and worker unions unite for more women in rail

On 5 November 2021, the European rail social partners CER (the Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies) and ETF (the European Transport Workers Federation) signed a binding agreement aimed at promoting employment of women in the sector. It is a historical agreement, over three years in the making, and the first of its kind at EU level on gender equality.
