The Business Travel Sector Celebrates 40 Years of the Schengen Agreement

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Schengen Agreement, CER, together with the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) and EU Travel Tech, has issued a joint statement to celebrate the Schengen Area success and to call for a better-enforced Area. This includes a wider digitalisation of travel procedures, better protection of travellers’ rights, and to enable seamless, fast, and reliable connections through a comprehensive European high-speed rail network.
