Joint Statement on Resilient Waterborne Logistics Supply Chains
CER, together with 16 other transport organisations, has co-signed a joint statement advocating for a fully integrated transport and logistics ecosystem, encompassing maritime and land transport, terminals, and supporting logistics services.
The joint statement "Resilient Waterborne Logistics Supply Chains: A Key to EU Competitiveness" endorses recent EU initiatives such as regulatory simplification, promoting labour upskilling and quality employment, and improving policy coordination at both EU and national levels, and proposes eight key pillars, including multimodal connectivity and infrastructure as well as adequate and accessible funding.
