CER Position - Multimodal Digital Mobility Services Regulation

Tuesday, 2 November 2021 Responding to the European Commission's inception impact assessment on the proposal for a Regulation on Multimodal Digital Mobility Services, CER put forward the below position paper calling for support of sector-based solutions as the starting point when improving multimodal ticketing. The paper refers to the recent CER Ticketing Roadmap accessible here. With this clear vision in place and many agreements and technical solutions already paving the way, CER expects the Commission proposal to provide a legal framework to maximise efficiency and transparency of these solutions, without extra administrative burden.
