CEO Summit 2026 Declaration on the Role of Railway in the New Era

On the occasion of the European Rail CEO Summit 2026 hosted in Prague by Správa železnic, a declaration on the Role of Railway in the New Era was agreed upon.

The declaration reaffirms that rail transport is essential for achieving the EU’s connectivity, resilience and climate goals, and calls to build a rail system that is safe, secure, efficient, interoperable, and future-ready, serving both civilian and defence needs while driving Europe’s green and digital transition.
