Social affairs
Social affairs in the rail sector cover a broad variety of issues, encompassing working conditions, diversity and gender equality issues, health and safety at work, education and training of staff, as well as relations with employees’ representatives and social dialogue. The Human Resources Directors Group is in charge of the social dimension of CER’s activities and supervises the work of two Working Groups: on HR Policies and Social Dialogue. As a recognised European social partner for the railway sector, CER takes part in the activities of the Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee for Railways.
