CER is launching the seventh edition of the 'Aline Bastin Photography Contest'.

12 pictures, highlighting this year's theme ““Exploring Europe: discovering the continent by train in the European Year of Youth” will be selected and the winners will each receive a 200 euros prize. In addition, to celebrate 50 years of the Interrail pass, each winner in this year’s contest will receive a free Global Interrail Pass valid for 5 days of travel in 2nd class within 1 month.

High-resolution photographs should be submitted electronically on this page by 7 October 2022.

The contest is open not only to CER members but to all residents of the 27 Member States of the European Union, Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Georgia, the Republic of North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. Only photos taken in these countries can be submitted.
