As a relatively high number of bodies are active in the area of control-command, signalling and operation on the European scene, the distribution of mandates & tasks among them needs to be understood and where appropriate, improved. To achieve this goal, it is proposed to call regular meetings of people responsible for signalling & operational strategy of European railway companies who will be in a position to advise on the desired focus of European activities and improved coordination.
 

The objective of this first meeting is to map the current roles and activities of the individual bodies.

The High Level Meeting will be preceded by a dinner debate starting on the evening of 13 October with the participation of Mr Karel Vinck, European ERTMS Coordinator.
 
The High Level Meeting will take place on 14 October June in Brussels.
